What is "Click-Worth" (EPC)?

EPC — Earnings Per Click — is the single most important metric in performance marketing. It tells you exactly how much revenue one visitor generates, on average.

EPC = Price × (Conversion Rate ÷ 100)

Example: $100 product × 2% CR = $2.00 per click

Why every marketer needs to know this

  • Ad buying: If your EPC is $2.00, any CPC below $2.00 is profitable. Any CPC above it bleeds money.
  • Affiliate / influencer deals: Know instantly if a $500 sponsored post at 200 clicks is worth it.
  • Scaling decisions: Double EPC by raising price OR improving conversion — not just sending more traffic.
  • Time ROI: Low EPC means even free traffic isn't worth chasing. Fix the funnel first.
