Tolerance controls the edge

The Tolerance slider catches near-matching pixels. Raise it for anti-aliased edges or gradients near the background. Lower it for flat, solid areas.

Transparent background support

PNG files with alpha channels are handled natively. The tool reads each pixel's alpha value and fills fully or partially transparent pixels with your chosen colour.
