What is a duotone?

                        
Duotone maps an image to greyscale, then replaces shadows with one colour and highlights with another. Popularised by Spotify for album art and promo graphics.

                    

                    

                        
Blend Intensity

                        
At 100% you get a pure duotone. Lower it to let the original photo show through — great for subtle branded look without losing subject detail.

                    

                    

                        
Midtone Shift
