Why use this?
Make any image square
The most common use — portrait or landscape photo going into an Instagram square post or product listing. Hit Make Square and it centres your image with even padding on all sides.
Target size mode
Need exactly 1080×1080px or 1200×628px? Enter the target dimensions and the tool calculates exactly how much padding is needed on each side.
Transparent padding → PNG
Choosing Transparent background automatically forces PNG output to preserve the alpha channel — no white bleed on coloured backgrounds.
Per-side control
Add 80px top for a caption area, 0px sides, 20px bottom. Switch to Per Side mode for full independent control of every edge.
