Strength controls intensity
Higher strength = more dramatic sharpening. For portraits keep it under 120 to avoid noise. For text or documents, 180+ gives crisp results.
Threshold avoids noise
The Threshold slider tells the filter to skip pixels that are similar to their neighbors. Raise it to protect skin tones and skies from grain.
