ℹ️ How this tool works & what it doesn't do
  • "Outside work hours" is a fixed assumption of 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM local time for each team member. This is not adjustable per person.
  • "Standard Time" vs "Daylight Saving Time" cards are calculated by comparing each timezone's UTC offset on Jan 1 and Jul 1 of the current year. This correctly handles both hemispheres, but a handful of timezones (e.g. parts of Brazil, some Pacific islands) change their DST rules from year to year by local legislation — this tool reflects the rule in effect for those two reference dates only.
  • The "+1 day / -1 day" note shows that the UTC time falls on a different calendar day than the local date — it does not calculate or display the actual calendar date.
  • The "Shift ends" calculation assumes the offset stays constant for the whole shift. If a DST transition happens mid-shift (twice a year, for a few hours), the end time shown may be off by 1 hour.
  • Most DST transitions shift the clock by exactly 1 hour. A small number of regions use 30 or 45-minute shifts — those are calculated correctly here, but the "±1h" wording in team warnings is an approximation.
  • The timezone dropdown lists ~38 common zones. If your timezone isn't listed, the tool tries to auto-detect and match it to the closest zone with the same current UTC offset — pick manually if that match looks wrong.
  • Up to 6 team timezones can be compared at once.
