⚠ What this tool can and cannot do

• Static offsets only. UTC offsets in this tool are hardcoded. DST transitions happen on different dates every year by country — this tool does not auto-switch between standard and daylight-saving offsets. The "DST" label is informational only.
• Live clock uses your browser's clock. If your system clock is wrong, all times shown will be wrong.
• Ambiguous abbreviations exist. IST means Indian Standard Time, Ireland Standard Time, and Israel Standard Time. CST can be Central Standard Time (Americas) or China Standard Time. When an abbreviation is ambiguous, all matching zones are shown — we do not guess.
• No map is shown. The previous version's world map was purely decorative and placed the highlighted band at the wrong longitude for non-integer offsets (e.g. IST at UTC+5:30 and NPT at UTC+5:45). It has been removed to avoid misleading you.
• Country lists are representative, not exhaustive. We list the most commonly associated countries. Some territories or dependencies may be omitted.
• No real-time DST detection. Whether a country is currently observing DST right now is not computed. We show the abbreviation's fixed offset only.
