Weekend Days Counter

Count every Saturday & Sunday between two dates — for staffing, scheduling, payroll & planning.

Start Date
End Date
⚠️ Your end date was earlier than your start date, so the two were swapped automatically. The fields above now show the corrected order.
Include end date in the range — when off, the end date is removed entirely from every total below (not just from the weekend count, even if it's a weekday)

Good to know — how this tool works
  • "Weekend" always means Saturday + Sunday. This is hardcoded and cannot be changed — if your organization uses a different weekend (e.g. Friday–Saturday), the counts won't match your schedule.
  • Public holidays are not factored in. "Working Days" simply means "not a Saturday or Sunday" — it does not subtract national or company holidays.
  • The "Include end date" toggle affects the whole range, not just weekends — turning it off shortens the range by one full day, whatever day that happens to be.
  • If the start date is after the end date, they're swapped automatically and a notice is shown, with the date fields updated to match what was actually calculated.
  • The weekend-by-weekend list displays at most 300 rows (about 5.7 years) for readability. The totals above and the "Copy Result" button always reflect the complete range, even if it's longer than that.
  • All calculations use plain calendar dates with no time-of-day or timezone component, so there's no risk of off-by-one errors from daylight saving changes.
